Your haiku are always so clever! I like the way if you take the floating line to go with line 1 you can interpret "gravity" as the seriousness of your situation and feeling optimistic anyway, but if you take it with the final line it can mean gravity more literally working against the birds. Nice work
Seagulls, also, are heavier than air machines. But evidence suggests they can fly. For some reason reading this I flashed back to to my attempt to fly. I put on a yellow T shirt, fashioned a red cape like mighty mouse, and leaped off the end of the couch...bam! Flat on my face.
